A Digital Leap Forward for General Gymnastics

The National Gymnastics League (NGL) is looking to introduce a cutting-edge digital platform that will redefine grass roots gymnastics competitions nationally by introducing real-time scoring, video integration, and enhanced transparency for athletes, coaches, judges, and families.

Currently we are working with a company called Elevien to look at way their intuitive system could be integrated with the competition and it’s incredibly exciting.

Our Vision

Our goal is to elevate the competition experience for general gymnasts by:

  • Enhancing Scoring Integrity: Implementing a transparent, real-time scoring system that minimizes errors and builds trust.

  • Improving Communication: Providing instant access to scores and performance videos for parents and supporters.

  • Expanding Accessibility: Enabling remote participation, allowing clubs from various locations to join the league without extensive travel.

Key Benefits of the Elevien Integration

  • Live Scoring: Judges input scores directly into the Elevien app, making results immediately visible to all stakeholders .

  • Video Recording: Performances can be recorded and uploaded, allowing parents to view routines even if they cannot attend in person.

  • Remote Participation: Clubs could participate in competitions virtually, reducing the need for travel and associated costs for those remote clubs.

  • User-Friendly Interface: The platform is accessible via smartphones, tablets, or computers, requiring no special equipment .

Implementation Strategy

To ensure the successful adoption of a digital core system within the NGL framework:

  • Judge Training: Each club will nominate a judge to attend competitions and receive training on the system.

  • Video Recording: Clubs will designate an individual responsible for recording and uploading routines to the platform.

  • Live Streaming: We will pilot live score streaming to screens at venues, enhancing the viewing experience.
