Rules
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Club Eligibility:
Clubs must be registered with British Gymnastics.
Clubs must be part of an NGL League (typically 3–6 clubs per league).
Each club must:
Nominate 1 judge for all 3 events who will judge the same piece at each event. This is important for consistency and the integrity of the League. It is proposed that this person will be remunerated for their services by the league.
Nominate 1 video assistant (for scoring/filming via Elevien). TBC. Parent?
Gymnast Eligibility:
1. Must train less than 10 hours per week, divided into:
Under 5 hrs
Over 5 hrs
2. Gymnasts must fall within one of four Age Categories:
6–8
9–11
12–14
15+

Entry Allocation:
Each competition is capped at 6 gymnasts per rotation, so 36 gymnasts in total per piece, per competition.
Club entry allocation depends on number of clubs in the league:
One routine = one gymnast on one apparatus.
4. Clubs will enter teams of 6.
Apparatus:
All 6 MAG apparatus: Floor, Pommel, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, High Bar
Set routines: Level A, B, or C + optional bonus skills

EVENT RUNNING ORDER (36 Routine Format)
Target competition running time 3hrs. Each Round will last no more than 7 hours. An example of the running day might be:
10.00 First Competition Starts
13.00 First Competition Finishes
14.00 Second Competition Starts
17.00 Second Competition Finishes

GYMNAST OF THE ROUND BONUS POINT
At the end of each competition, each club nominates one` of their gymnasts for this award.
Awards are based on NGL Core Values:
Respect
Resilience
Team Spirit
Progress
Presentation
Gymnasts are recognised during the transition buffer, with:
Their name announced
A short reason read aloud
A certificate, sticker, or badge awarded
Clubs are encouraged to rotate this award and celebrate different athletes each round.
Bonus League Point:
Each Gymnast of the Round award earns the gymnast’s club +1 bonus point toward their club’s league standing.
This ensures every club scores at every event, rewarding values as well as performance.
